| I know next season is a long way off but the usual winter prep will soon be on us. First up is winter nets. Obviously not till Jan but if we want the pick of time and place we need to book up asap instead of our usual leave it and get left with what others don't want. I think the general concensus was that Sunday evenings is not the best day/night to be netting on. Can we have a poll of players as to which night suits them best and we can try and go for that one. Also can we have a general opinion on weather we should go for Chris hatton School in Wellingborough where we have been for the past 2 years. You can pick more than one night on the poll if one or more suits you..... | |

| I reckon that Bishop's sports hall and nets are much better than Hatton's and there are 4 nets not 3! Just a thought | |

| Agree with bishop. Not because it's in Kettering, but because they are better nets...at least the ball gets up above your ankles! You all know how much I love the pull shot!!!!!!!!!!!! | |

| Hmmmm, Not too sure about Bishop's. I netted there with my Wed night team and they are lethal. They have proper tennis ball bounce and someone qhick can do someone some serious damage. I know Hattons keep low but at least it makes them safe and lets face it, come April were not going to be walking out onto wickets that ping balls around your ears..... | |

| Thought that would be a no goer as loads of people head out on Friday nights.....
I assumed - probably wrongly that people would want to net midweek on say a Mon or Tue when not much else happens....
I'll try adding Friday to the poll - not sure if I can tho...... | |

| If you net on Fridays you can all go out together: it might build team spirit and enable Courty to name more than 3 of the 2nd team. Its what the top team in the area does. We are using the County ground this year because its the best and so are we | |
