It may be winter, but that doesn't mean that all the fun stops at Orlingbury Road - OH NO! Here are several events taking place before the new year to wow you during those cold winter evenings.
Ferret Racing - 25th Nov 2006 - Now part of Isham's folklore, Ferret Racing returns to Orlingbury Road on Saturday 25th November.
The concept is easy, you put money behind the bar and fritter your life savings away, and we'll race these elongated, smelly creatures with sharp teeth for your pleasure. It has always been a superb night's entertainment and you can expect much the same this time round.
Wine Tasting Evening - 16th Nov 2006 - Chris Scopes has organised a wine tasting evening on Thursday, 16th November.
The evening will start with a short talk from Leigh Gilligan, an Australian vineyard owner who will answer any questions you may have. Then on to the plonk! “Nibbles” will be available and the evening as a whole will cost £8 per person. This type of event is a first for Isham CC, so please come along and give it your full support.
Festive Lunch - 10th Dec 2006 - On Sunday 10th December, Isham will be holding a seasonal lunch to help get you in to the Christmas spirit (CHRISTMAS ALREADY?)
It gives the members a chance to meet during the close season and of course helps raise funds behind the bar. Last year was a complete sell out so to avoid disappointment, reserve your place with Chris Scopes. We look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible.
