| On Tuesday Evening the next round of the Twenty20 takes place at Orlingbury Road. We've managed to pull Finedon out of the hat. We're laying on a barbeque and it would be great to have as many people up there supporting us as we can - we may well need it!! or alternatively you can go and watch Burton vs Bold Dragoon in the 'Losers', sorry, 'Plate' competition........ - watch Columbo bite....!! | |

| I won't bite. I might even turn up. Finedon are a good side, but as Burton proved last season, they are not unbeatable. Oh, and Bold Dragoon is a pub who sponsered a former town league side who took on their name. | |

| Just want to say what a great nights cricket it was last night, despite the ultimately disappointing result. It was great to see so many people at Isham, I don't think I've ever seen such an attendance. Next year I suggest we sell tickets!! But it was a fantastic, absorbing game, and with an over to go needing 9 to win(or 8 for a draw) i really thought we would win. Finedon came off looking as if they had been in a battle, one tighter than they expected I think, and whilst it is little or no consolation to lose by four runs, the closeness of the game was a great effort against the best team in northants for the last 10 years and last years champions. Lets take it into the Saturday performances! | |

| I just want to say well done to all they players, everyone performed superbly. Also thanks for all those that turned out to support us. Just a shame we couldn'd quite get there in the end...... | |

| Finedon 139 Isham 135
Simon passed the buck and left it for poor ol Jim to hit a boundary of Goodeys last ball. Dont think the poor bugger even knew he d bowled it.
Nerve racking stuff from the pavillion , but what a great way to spend a Tues evening. Great game. | |
